Turnover Certificate by CA
A Turnover Certificate is a CA-certified document confirming the annual business turnover of a firm, company, or proprietorship for one or more financial years. It is one of the most frequently required documents in government procurement, MSME registration, vendor empanelment, and contract qualification processes where the tendering authority or organisation needs independent verification of the bidder's financial scale and capacity. We issue turnover certificates promptly — with a valid UDIN, on our CA letterhead — for all types of business entities.
Turnover Certificate for Government Tenders
CA-certified annual turnover certificate for GeM portal bids, CPWD tenders, railways procurement, PSU vendor registration, and state government contract applications requiring minimum turnover proof.
Turnover Certificate for MSME Registration
Turnover certificate confirming the annual turnover threshold for MSME (Udyam) registration classification — micro, small, or medium — as required for Udyam portal registration or reclassification.
Turnover Certificate for Vendor Empanelment
CA-certified turnover certificate for vendor empanelment with large private sector organisations, banks, PSUs, multinational companies, and industry bodies requiring minimum revenue eligibility criteria.
Multi-Year Turnover Certificate
Turnover certificates covering multiple financial years — typically the last 3 years — in a single certificate format, as required by many tendering authorities for average annual turnover computation.
Export Turnover Certificate
CA certificate specifically certifying the export turnover of a business — required for DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) applications, export incentive claims, and preferential trade documentation.
Sector-Specific Turnover Certificate
Turnover certificate broken down by specific business activity or sector — construction works, IT services, manufacturing, trading — as required when tendering authorities need work-specific revenue certification.
What is a Turnover Certificate?
A turnover certificate is a formal attestation by a practising CA certifying that the business achieved a stated gross turnover (total sales or gross receipts) during a specified financial year. The CA arrives at the certified turnover figure by examining the audited financial statements, books of accounts, GST returns, income tax returns, and bank statements of the entity — cross-verifying the stated turnover against multiple data sources before issuing the certificate.
The turnover figure in the certificate is typically the gross revenue or net sales as per the profit and loss account — excluding GST collected from customers (since turnover is now understood to exclude GST under the current regime). For some purposes (such as MSME classification), the turnover definition may differ slightly and we verify the applicable definition before issuing the certificate.
Common Purposes for Turnover Certificates
- Government tender eligibility — minimum average annual turnover (AAT) thresholds
- GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal registration and product/service listing
- MSME Udyam Registration — turnover classification for micro, small, medium category
- Vendor empanelment with banks, PSUs, and large private sector organisations
- DGFT applications — export licence, Advance Authorisation, EPCG scheme
- ISO and quality certification applications requiring revenue scale proof
- Bank loan applications requiring business turnover verification
- Professional body membership — FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM minimum turnover requirements
